Summer is on the way, and that means it is time for another season of Business Bowls at the Jindy Bowlo.
The competition is all about fun, friendship, and a relaxed game on the greens. Both experienced bowlers and newcomers are encouraged to join in.
Registration: Sunday 19 October at 5pm sharp
First Game: Wednesday 29 October
Game Time: 5:30pm each Wednesday evening
Teams consist of three players, with the option to change players each week if needed. A fourth person is welcome to help with drinks or lend support from the sidelines.
The registration fee is 50 dollars per team. The fee is refunded on the final night of the season unless more than one forfeit occurs.
Games will be played from October 29 to December 10, followed by a Christmas break. Play resumes on January 21 and continues until March 4. December 17 and March 11 are set aside as spare nights if required.
Each game lasts around 90 minutes, with 3 bowl triples over 12 ends. Bowls are available at the club for anyone who needs them.
Scoring system:
Win = 2 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
A maximum of 16 teams can enter. A team representative must attend registration to confirm a place.
If a team is running late or short of players, the club should be contacted as early as possible. Substitute players can often be arranged. Full affiliated bowlers acting as substitutes must play lead or second.
Business Bowls is a wonderful way to enjoy the evening, meet friendly faces, and take part in a true Jindabyne summer tradition.
