There’s something special about December at the Jindabyne Bowling & Sports Club. The days get longer, school holidays start to kick in, and the Bowlo fills up with that familiar pre-Christmas buzz.
To celebrate this year, we’re going bigger than ever. More raffles, more prizes, more laughs and more chances to head home with something special under your arm.
Here’s what’s happening around the club in the lead up to Chrissy…
Turkey, Ham & Hamper Raffles
Wednesdays — 3, 10 & 17 December | Drawn from 6.30pm
There’s nothing quite like that moment when your number gets called and you’re walking back to your table cradling a shiny Christmas ham. Each Wednesday, we’re giving away 10 Hams, 5 Turkeys and 5 Hampers
$1000 Badge Draw
Fridays — 5, 12 & 19 December | Following raffle draw from 7.30pm
December Fridays at the Bowlo are already big — but a guaranteed $1000 Badge Draw takes things to the next level. Regular raffles run Fridays 5th & 12th, with the Mega Christmas Raffle on the 19th (more on that below), followed by the $1,000 Members Badge Draw.
The draw must go off every Friday, so make sure you’re in the room at 7.30pm. Pair it with a cold drink, a feed from the bistro, and the regular Friday raffles (except on the 19th), and you’ve got yourself the perfect way to round out the work week.
Kids Toy Raffle
Saturday — 13 December | Tickets on Sale 10am | Activities from 4pm | Raffle Draw at 7pm
This is one of the most wholesome nights of the year. We’re giving away $5,000 worth of toys, and the whole afternoon is set up for families.
There’ll be face painting, Christmas colouring, and even a visit from Santa himself before the big draw. It’s always a packed house, so bring the kids early to grab a table, enjoy some snacks, and soak up the smiles. Pizzas are available from 3pm, with the Bistro opening at 6pm.
Mega Christmas Raffle
Friday — 19 December | Tickets on Sale 10am | Drawn from 7.30pm
Our biggest raffle of the year!
With $5,000 worth of prizes ready to go, this one is always a treat!

Super Seafood Raffle
Wednesday — 24 December | Drawn from 6.30pm
Christmas Eve at the Bowlo is all about seafood, and we’ve lined up a massive spread of prawns, fish, and fresh festive favourites. Perfect for anyone putting together a Christmas lunch or wanting to leave the supermarket crowds behind.
Bring the family, grab a drink, and settle in for one of the most popular raffles of the year.
