Jindabyne Bowls January Update

Happy New Year! There’s never been a better time to get involved in bowls at the Jindabyne Bowling and Sports Club.

The Major and Minor Singles Championships are in full swing, with members showcasing their skills on the green. There have already been some fantastic matches, with more excitement still to come!

Looking ahead, the South-East Region Open Gender Pennant season kicks off in February, followed closely by the Monaro Shield. These competitions provide a great opportunity for members to challenge themselves and refine their game against local and regional opponents.

The second half of Business Bowls begins in January, with teams now split into A & B grades. This format allows for more games against opponents of similar skill levels, ensuring an enjoyable and competitive experience for everyone.

Don’t miss out on Friday evening Skills & Drills sessions with Nick Hind and Brian Burns, starting January 10 at 4:30 pm. These fun, low-pressure training sessions are perfect for bowlers of all skill levels to sharpen their techniques and enjoy the game.

If you’re keen to get involved and play competitively, contact Nick Hind on 0472 865 197 or via email at [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you on the green!
