One of Jindabyne’s favourite poker traditions is back this September, with the Kalkite Kup returning to Jindabyne Bowling & Sports Club on Sunday 20 September for its 20th year.
First played in 2007, the Kalkite Kup has become a fixture on the local poker calendar and the traditional finale to Jindabyne’s winter poker season. Over two decades, it has brought together local regulars, seasonal workers and visiting players for one last big showdown as winter draws to a close.
This year’s 20th anniversary tournament promises to be a big one, with a $100 buy-in, plus the option of one $100 re-buy or add-on.
After 20 years of cards, bluffs, big hands and memorable final tables, there’s also a little extra bragging rights on offer: someone will leave the club as the 20th anniversary Kalkite Kup champion.
Whether you’re a long-time Kalkite Kup regular or ready to take your seat for the first time, come along and be part of a milestone edition of this much-loved Jindabyne event.
