Lakeside Dining Bistro Playground Upgrade

Lakeside Dining Bistro Playground Upgrade

We’re excited to announce that Lakeside Dining playground is set for an expansion. Five new large climbing modules will be added to the existing play structure, doubling the total climbing capacity to 36 kids!

The current structure consists of five large climbing modules, a tube slide, an entry module, and a sphere, with a play capacity of 18 children in the climbing structure. The extension will add another five large modules, introducing additional play elements including Trip-A-Longs, Spider Bungees, Block Busters, Web Windows, a Web Deck, Kiddie Squeeze, Vertical Mangle Squeezes, a Punching Bag, and an Entry Maze. A new loop within the structure gives kids more ways to move through the playground, keeping them engaged and active for longer.

The redesign also brings some practical improvements: the Jumbo Slide will be repositioned for better flow, and the new layout allows full access to the floor beneath the structure for cleaning. Importantly, none of the existing modules need to be altered, which will keep installation time to a minimum.

The playground will be closed on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 May while installation takes place. We expect the playground to reopen from Wednesday 20 May onwards for members and guests, bigger and better than ever.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we make these exciting improvements.

The Lakeside Dining area & playground is open from 10am daily for parents or carers to enjoy a coffee whilst the little ones play. Lunch is available 12pm-3pm and Dinner at the family-friendly times of 5pm-8:30pm, 7 days a week. There is an extensive menu plus daily blackboard specials available. Reservations are not required.

The new playground is designed, supplied and installed by Playtec, Australia’s leading supplier of indoor playgrounds.
