Jindy Together Application Terms
About Jindy Together
Jindy Together is a community partnership initiative of Jindabyne Bowling & Sports Club (JBSC).
The program connects eligible local organisations with opportunities to meet, fundraise, promote, connect and participate in activities at the Club.
Jindy Together is designed to make community participation easier by giving organisations access to selected JBSC facilities, activities, audiences and promotional opportunities.
Participation in Jindy Together is subject to these Terms of Participation.
1. Eligibility and approval
Participation in Jindy Together is available to eligible sporting clubs, schools and P&Cs, charities, service clubs, volunteer groups, community organisations, local events and other organisations with a genuine connection to the Jindabyne community.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
JBSC may:
- Approve an application.
- Approve an application subject to reasonable conditions.
- Request further information.
- Decline an application.
- Review or withdraw an organisation’s participation where appropriate.
JBSC may consider factors including community benefit, suitability for the Club environment, operational capacity, safety, legal requirements and reputational considerations.
2. Jindy Together is not a cash funding program
Participation in Jindy Together does not automatically provide or guarantee:
- A cash grant.
- Sponsorship funding.
- ClubGRANTS funding.
- Any other financial contribution from JBSC.
Community Grants, Community Sponsorship Partnerships and eligible ClubGRANTS support are considered separately through JBSC’s Community Funding process.
Jindy Together partners may apply separately for financial support where eligible.
3. Program opportunities
Jindy Together partners may be offered access to opportunities including:
- Wednesday Community Raffles.
- Meeting or AGM space.
- Group gatherings and functions.
- Promotion through JBSC communication channels.
- Community events and activities.
- Social bowls and other Club activities.
- Partner profiles and community stories.
- Fundraising opportunities.
- Volunteer and community connections.
- Other activities agreed between JBSC and the participating organisation.
Not every opportunity will be available to every organisation.
Access is subject to:
- Availability.
- Suitability.
- Club operating requirements.
- Applicable laws and regulations.
- Any additional conditions relevant to the particular activity.
JBSC does not guarantee any minimum number or value of opportunities during an organisation’s participation in the program.
4. Community Raffles
Eligible Jindy Together partners may be invited to participate as a beneficiary of a Community Raffle.
JBSC will determine the available dates and allocation of raffle opportunities across participating organisations.
Participating organisations may be asked to:
- Promote their allocated raffle through their own networks.
- Encourage members, families and supporters to attend.
- Provide appropriate organisation information and promotional material.
- Cooperate with JBSC staff regarding the conduct and promotion of the raffle.
All raffles and fundraising activities conducted at JBSC must operate in accordance with applicable laws, licence requirements, Club policies and JBSC directions.
Unless specifically authorised by JBSC, participating organisations must not independently conduct gambling, gaming or fundraising activities on Club premises.
Participation in a Community Raffle does not guarantee a particular fundraising result.
5. Use of JBSC facilities
Where a Jindy Together partner is provided access to JBSC facilities, meeting spaces or other areas of the Club:
- Bookings remain subject to availability and confirmation by JBSC.
- Normal Club conditions of entry apply.
- Any agreed booking, catering or facility charges remain payable unless specifically waived.
- The organisation must use the facilities responsibly.
- The organisation must follow reasonable directions from JBSC staff.
- The organisation is responsible for the conduct of its members, volunteers, guests and representatives attending its activities.
Access provided through Jindy Together does not create an ongoing or exclusive right to use any JBSC facility.
6. Partner responsibilities
Participating organisations are expected to:
- Maintain an up-to-date nominated contact.
- Provide accurate information about their organisation.
- Advise JBSC of any material changes that may affect their participation.
- Promote agreed Jindy Together activities where appropriate.
- Work cooperatively with JBSC staff.
- Conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the community-focused purpose of the program.
- Maintain their own governance, registrations, approvals and compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate insurance for their activities where required.
- Ensure their activities are safe, lawful and appropriately supervised.
- Comply with applicable child safety, volunteer, fundraising and other legal requirements relevant to their organisation.
Participation in Jindy Together does not transfer responsibility for an organisation’s normal governance or operations to JBSC.
7. Promotion and use of organisation information
As part of participating in Jindy Together, JBSC may identify and promote the organisation as a Jindy Together partner.
This may include use of:
- Organisation name.
- Logo.
- Website and social media links.
- A short description of the organisation.
- Details of approved Jindy Together activities.
- Photographs, stories or other content supplied or approved by the organisation.
JBSC may use this information through its website, social media, in-club communications and other reasonable promotional channels connected with Jindy Together and JBSC’s community activities.
Participating organisations are responsible for ensuring they have the right to provide any logos, photographs, content or other material supplied to JBSC.
JBSC will not use an organisation’s name or branding in a way that inaccurately represents the nature of the relationship.
Any personal information will be handled in accordance with JBSC’s applicable privacy practices.
8. JBSC name and branding
Participation in Jindy Together does not give an organisation unrestricted permission to use the JBSC name, logo or branding.
Any public use of JBSC branding must:
- Relate to an approved Jindy Together activity.
- Be accurate and not misleading.
- Follow any branding directions provided by JBSC.
- Be removed or amended if requested by JBSC.
Organisations must not represent themselves as being owned, controlled, endorsed or financially supported by JBSC beyond the actual nature of the relationship.
9. Financial arrangements
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Each organisation remains responsible for its own costs and expenses.
- Jindy Together does not create a financial commitment from JBSC.
- Participation does not entitle an organisation to reimbursement.
- Any separate grant, sponsorship or other financial support will be subject to its own approval and conditions.
Any proceeds from an approved fundraising activity will be distributed according to the arrangements advised for that activity.
10. Insurance, risk and liability
Each organisation remains responsible for managing the risks associated with its own activities, members, volunteers and participants.
Where relevant, JBSC may request evidence of:
- Public liability insurance.
- Incorporation or auspicing arrangements.
- Working with Children requirements.
- Event approvals.
- Other licences, permissions or insurance.
JBSC may impose reasonable additional conditions where an activity presents particular operational, safety or compliance requirements.
11. Changes to activities
JBSC may change, postpone or cancel a Jindy Together activity where reasonably necessary because of:
- Venue requirements.
- Operational circumstances.
- Safety concerns.
- Weather.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
- Insufficient participation.
- Other circumstances outside JBSC’s reasonable control.
Where practical, JBSC will communicate changes to affected organisations as early as possible.
12. Duration and review of participation
Jindy Together is intended to create ongoing community relationships, but participation is not permanent.
JBSC may periodically review:
- Whether contact details remain current.
- Whether the organisation remains active.
- Participation in program activities.
- Compliance with these terms.
- Whether the relationship continues to be appropriate for the program.
JBSC may introduce an annual confirmation or renewal process.
13. Ending participation
An organisation may withdraw from Jindy Together at any time by notifying JBSC.
JBSC may suspend or end an organisation’s participation where:
- These terms are not followed.
- The organisation no longer meets the program’s eligibility requirements.
- The organisation engages in unlawful, unsafe or inappropriate conduct.
- The organisation creates an unreasonable operational or reputational risk to JBSC.
- The organisation repeatedly fails to meet agreed commitments.
- JBSC otherwise reasonably considers continued participation inappropriate.
Where reasonable, JBSC will discuss concerns with the organisation before participation is ended.
14. Changes to these terms
JBSC may update these Terms of Participation from time to time as the Jindy Together program develops.
The current version will be published on the JBSC website.
Where a significant change materially affects existing partners, JBSC will take reasonable steps to advise participating organisations.

Acceptance
By applying to join Jindy Together, the applicant confirms that:
- They are authorised to submit the application on behalf of the organisation.
- The information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
- The organisation has read and agrees to these Terms of Participation.
